Adobe Fonts Not Working

I'm doing it correctly (move fonts from left pane to right pane to unembed them), but it literally seems to be doing nothing. 1.) you don’t have the adobe creative cloud application running in the background, or 2.) the creative cloud application is running, but your preferences are not set to sync typekit fonts with your installed.

I installed stone sans fonts today (6 total/pkg from adobe site).

So it is not the font and it is not the computer itself, but the adobe. Windows affected, macos, not sure. It does work, however, with other random pdfs i've tested.
